Miss Aria’s Home Grown Kids is a licensed, in-home child care center, established in 2009. It is owned and operated by experienced childcare professional, “Miss Aria.”
Miss Aria studied Early Childhood Education at Eastern Nazarene college and UNH. She has worked with children for over 20 years. In addition to her work in childcare centers, Miss Aria has been employed as a nanny, tutor and teacher’s aide. She has done and continues to do volunteer work with young children in various capacities. Miss Aria is also an artist. Her pieces have won awards and have been displayed locally and nationally. She taught a children’s art and aerobic class at a local gym. Later, she designed her own unique children’s art program which she taught at two children’s museums before opening her own daycare.
Miss Kathy is co-founder of Home Grown Kids. She previously owned and operated a small in-home daycare in Massachusetts. More recently her work with children has included child photography at local schools and photo studios. She also has many years of experience volunteering with children of all ages. After two years working as full time co-teacher of Home Grown Kids, Miss Kathy retired to position of substitute teacher. She assists with field trips and special projects and fills in when needed.
Both Aria and Kathy are CPR and first aide certified, and come highly recommended!
